The founder of Sprunt Architects, Robert is an Urban Designer and Architect with over 30 years of industry experience.
Prior to forming the company, Robert was the Director of Development at The London Borough of Brent which gave him an exemplary understanding of the public and private sectors. His work with the Authority also built on his natural ability to work closely with clients including Local Authorities, resident groups, key stakeholders and developers.
As Executive Chairman of Sprunt, Robert has delivered some of the most high profile and complex urban regeneration projects in London. He is a dynamic and passionate leader who uses his knowledge and commitment to design to drive his team’s motivation to achieve success, on even the most complex projects.
Joel is an experienced architect with a keen interest in design development, working with stakeholders to produce projects that are socially, economically and ecologically sustainable. He challenges the status quo with his passion to ensure that Sprunt’s buildings meet the needs of their users while making a lasting contribution to the quality of the environment.
Joel has experience of a diverse range of projects, particularly in education. Whilst working for Sprunt he has designed many schools including New North Community School in Islington which was selected by the National College of School Leadership as an exemplar on ‘how to design and build a primary school’.
Joel acts as a primary point of contact for clients on all issues of project design, development and delivery. He co-ordinates consultants, leads design reviews and is responsible for project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Head of Studio
Audrey is Head of Wardour Street Studio. She has been an associate level architect for 11 years and is able to reliably run all aspects of projects.
As an experienced team leader, Audrey manages her team to deliver projects from concept through to completion. She has strong communication skills and specialises in designing for healthcare, special needs and housing.
Audrey’s key skills include the ability to understand and untangle complex briefs and technical requirements, interacting with a wide range of clients, leading a design team from inception to completion and administering contracts.
Audrey has a strong interest in the arts and a passion for creating spaces that enhance lives.
Head of Studio
Marta is the head of the Dean Street Studio. She is a talented architect who has delivered numerous successful residential and mixed-use projects for Sprunt including new build and regeneration schemes such as Yallops Yard, Sudbury Arms, Convent Way and more recently Brunswick Estate for Homes for Islington. Other work involves strategic infill developments with Lovell Partnership and Hounslow Homes on the Heston Estates Renewal project which forms part of the regeneration of six estates to develop 346 new homes.
Head of Landscape
Ambika is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 10 years experience. Since joining Sprunt as head of the Landscape Studio last year, Ambika has worked on a number projects ranging from housing to leisure. She has an in-depth experience in landscape design and delivery, from master planning through to detailed hard and soft landscape and specification. She has a keen interest in sustainability, environmental planning and cultural landscapes.
Ambika has a flare for design and research and can balance between technical and operational areas. She has excellent communication and presentation skills and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. She has worked on range of projects including education, healthcare, commercial and urban design, from concept through to detailed design and coordinated projects from schematic design through to construction and administration for commercial, high-rise residential developments and resorts.
