Aragon Tower was a 26 storey tower with 144 two bedroom flats built in the 1960s as part of the Pepys Estate development in Deptford, overlooking the River Thames between Greenwich and Surrey Quays. The refurbishment transformed the 1960's building into a modern residential tower and a prominent landmark by the Thames. The existing structure was refurbished and the accommodation converted into modern apartments with unique riverfront views. The addition of five further floors provides and additional 14 apartments while giving then building a spectacular new profile. The refurbished flats are each arranged over three levels with separate main entrance and fire exit. The split level arrangement enables each unit to have panoramic views of the river to Greenwich in the east and the City in the west.
